Another round of experiential road safety training has been successfully completed. For the sixth consecutive year, Olympia Odos, in collaboration with the Road Safety Institute (RSI) "Panos Mylonas," implemented the "Do it Right" traffic education program, giving secondary school students the opportunity to learn in practice the importance of responsible driving behavior. The objective remains unchanged: to educate young drivers to drive safely, responsibly, and with respect for others.
In particular, on November 3-7, 1,153 students from five schools in Achaia, seven in Korinthia, and one in Attica learned that "life has no undo button" and were informed about the importance of road safety. Specifically, through this program, students used drunk goggles to understand how easy it is to make fatal mistakes when intoxicated, while with the help of special simulators, they experienced the sensation of a collision and a car rollover.
In 2025, the "Do it Right" program was implemented in a total of 25 schools along Olympia Odos, with the participation of 2,918 students from the regional units of Achaia, Korinthia, Western Attica, and Ilia. Since its launch in 2019, the program has garnered significant participation, with over 17,000 students and teachers taking part.
Olympia Odos and the “Panos Mylonas” Road Safety Institute are jointly implementing information and awareness activities regarding driving behavior. These activities include training in schools, "Road Safety Pit Stops" at Motorist Service Stations, and visits by schoolchildren and students to the motorway facilities. The objective is to promote the "zero accidents" culture, which is shared with its major shareholder, VINCI Highways. The company also engages in surveys and other activities with VINCI Highways.
