Cultural & Environmental Route

Since 2014, Olympia Odos cooperates with DIAZOMA Association to promote the Cultural Route of Olympia Odos.

Along the motorway, one comes across some of the most known and important archaeological sites of Greece, as well as areas of particular environmental importance such as:

The Eleusis Monuments;
The Heraion sanctuary;
Ancient Corinth and Acrocorinth;
Stymphalia Lake;
Sicyon city;
Vouraikos Gorge;
The ancient theaters of Aigeira and Kyrenia;
The Salt Lake of Aigio;
The monuments and archaeological park of Patras.

Our objective is to

highlight these cultural and environmental monuments;

help creating synergies between all local productive agents (restaurants, hotels, farmers, shops, etc.);

and ultimately trigger a development potential in all areas along the motorway.

The main axis of our synergy with DIAZOMA Association is the connection of a branded tourist/cultural product, i.e. the Cultural Route of Olympia Odos, with the sustainable development of all areas along the Motorway.
