Olympia Odos leads the way in serving

  • Customer Excellence Award for its distance-based tolling system
  • Two Distinction Awards for "Water from the Air" and ESG's Customer Service Strategy

Olympia Odos closed the big night of the National Customer Service Awards organized by the Hellenic Institute of Customer Service by winning three (3) important awards. The top award was the Customer Excellence Award for the Hybrid Distance-based Tolling System in the "Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience" category. The multi-award winning system was once again the favorite of the public and the judges, underscoring the importance of the company's major social investment that has radically changed local trips.

The Hybrid distance-based tolling system

The innovative technological system, unique to Olympia Odos, is automatically activated by using the OLYMPIA PASS Hybrid transponder. The system calculates the kilometers traveled by the vehicle within the Elefsina-Patras motorway and credits the difference to the OLYMPIA PASS subscriber's account, thus offering subscribers fairer distance-based charges. The innovative system will also be integrated into the new Patras-Pyrgos section when it is completed.

At the National Customer Service Awards, Olympia Odos also won two Distinction Awards for its Water from the Air program in the "Innovation in Customer Experience" category and for its ESG strategy in the "Best Organization for ESG Factors & Practices in Customer Service" category. These awards underscore the company's commitment to continuously improving its services for the benefit of its customers.

At Olympia Odos we develop innovative practices that help upgrade our infrastructure and services, improve the quality of life of the local communities in which we are active and of the community in general. Our vision is to ensure a future interwoven with innovative technologies, sustainable practices in the field of transports, but always focusing on people.

Fabrice Breton, Chief Technical Officer of Olympia Odos, who accepted the awards at the ceremony, also focused on people. As he said: "There are 1,700 people working at Olympia Odos today. Working on the construction, operation and maintenance of the Patras-Pyrgos section. These people make our trips safe and -now- not lonely. Because if something happens to us, someone will be close by. These awards belong to all these people.”
