Information about the incident on Kardatas Bridge at Megara
This morning during scheduled demolition works on Kardatas Bridge in the area of Megara, two machinery operators were slightly injured when a machine gave way along with part of the slab being demolished.
The demolition and reconstruction works on the Bridge have been temporarily suspended pending an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
Olympia Odos is monitoring their health and wishes them a speedy recovery and return to work.
