Final construction works and connection to the new Patras-Pyrgos Motorway

• Diversion of traffic between the VIPE and Kato Achaia Interchanges
• Completion of the construction of the remaining section from Midilogli to Alissos
• Continuous coordination with the competent authorities to minimize disruption

As part of the completion of the new Patras-Pyrgos Motorway and all the accompanying works pertaining to the motorway, traffic in both directions will be diverted to the Patras-Pyrgos ONR from the VIPE Interchange (k.p. 7.0) to the Kato Achaia Interchange (k.p. 17.9), from Thursday, November 20, 2025 to Sunday November 30, 2025. The crossing roads connecting the Patras-Pyrgos ONR to the villages south of the motorway will operate normally in the "in-between" section. This traffic arrangement extends the existing arrangement between Ovria Interchange and the VIPE by 11 kilometers, as shown in the following diagram.

It is the final stage of constructing and connecting the remaining Midilogli-Alissos section to the new Patras-Pyrgos motorway. During this stage, all necessary signage will remain in place, and there will be continuous coordination with the competent authorities to minimize the impact on traffic.

In case of emergency (passage of ambulances or fire engines), provision has been made for their passage through the closed section, accompanied by vehicles of the construction company AVAX SA.
