Short Night Closures at the Exit Ramp of Rion Interchange

To ensure the safe passage of over-sized vehicles carrying rail tracks through the Old National Road, short night closures of the exit ramp will be implemented at the Rion Interchange of Athens-Patras Motorway in the direction from Athens to “Rion-Center and Rion Hospital” for six (6) nights.

In particular, the said short night closures will take place from 21:00 in the night to 06:00 in the morning of the next day on:  Monday 30/10, Tuesday 31/10, Wednesday 01/11, Thursday 02/11, Sunday 5/11 and Monday 6/11.

The vehicles that could not exit the closed ramp shall use the next exit ramp located just 650m ahead of the closed ramp, as shown in the following diagram, and shall exit using the exit to “Rion - Ferry Boats”.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or technical problem, the works will be implemented on the following alternative dates, in an equivalent way: Tuesday 7/11, Wednesday 8/11, Thursday 9/11, Sunday 12/11, Monday 13/11 and Tuesday 14/11.
