Heavy Maintenance Works at Platanos Tunnels

• Replacing Analog Cameras with Digital Ones
• Traffic arrangements will be in place during the works

​As part of the heavy maintenance campaign on the Motorway, the old analog cameras in the Platanos Tunnel, in the direction to Athens, will be replaced with new digital ones from Monday, May 4, 2026 at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 10, 2026 at midnight, at the latest.

To implement the above works, the closure of the branch to Athens and the diversion of the traffic heading to Patras via the Emergency Openings from  k.p. 155.00 to k.p. 152.30, while the traffic heading to Patras will use the tunnels’ belvedere which is located north of them, in accordance with the following diagram:
