Large-scale Firefighting Exercise in the Panagopoula Tunnels

A Large-scale Firefighting Exercise will be conducted on the night of Wednesday, February 19, 2025, until the early morning of Thursday, February 20, 2025, in the Panagopoula Tunnels, in cooperation with the Fire Brigade and with the participation of all stakeholders, the Ministry for Infrastructure & Transport, the Hellenic Police and the EKAV Ambulances.

In order to ensure the safety of the participants in the Exercise and the passing drivers, both traffic directions will be diverted outside the Panagopoula Tunnels to the service road of the tunnels, for a few hours, from Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 16:00 until Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 05:00, as shown in the following diagram:
