Asphalt works at Thiva Interchange

Within the framework of the heavy maintenance works on the Motorway, asphalt layering works will be carried out at Thiva Interchange (k.p. 23.8) in the traffic direction to Athens, from June 17, 2024 to and including June 22, 2024. The necessary traffic arrangements will be gradually implemented in three phases, as follows:

Phase A: Closure of the motorway exit from Korinthos to Elefsina: Traffic to Elefsina or Thiva shall use the next Paradissos Interchange in the direction to Athens, where it shall exit either directly to Elefsina or make a U-turn to Korinthos and then exit at Thiva I/C from the opposite direction in order to head to Thiva, in accordance with the first diagram.

Phase B: Closure of the traffic direction from Thiva to Athens and from Korinthos to Thiva: Traffic from Thiva to Athens shall use the very next interchange (to Elefsina) where by turning left and using the service road is headed to an entrance to the Motorway in the direction to Athens, while the traffic from Korinthos to Thiva will use the next Paradissos I/C to Athens, where shall exit the motorway and make a U-turn to Korinthos in order to reach Thiva I/C on the opposite direction, in accordance with the second diagram.

Phase C: closure of the entrance ramp from Elefsina and Thiva to Athens Traffic from Elefsina and Thiva to Athens shall use the very next at-grade intersection (to Elefsina), where making a left or right turn, depending on the direction, is headed, through the service road, to an entrance to the Motorway in the direction to Athens, in accordance with the third diagram.
