Traffic ban on vehicles transporting dangerous goods in the Kakia Skala Tunnels, in the direction to Korinthos from Tuesday, September 22, 2026 to and including Friday, September 25, 2026

For the execution of maintenance works of part of the equipment of the Kakia Skala Tunnels and for safety reasons, by decision of the Attica Traffic Police (Ref. 25635), there will be a ban on vehicles transporting dangerous goods passing through the Kakia Skala tunnels in the direction to Korinthos from 06:00 on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, until 06:00 on Friday, September 25, 2026.

During this period, the specific vehicles shall use the Old National Road in the section between the Megara and Kineta Interchanges.

Drivers of all other vehicles are kindly requested to be extra cautious when driving in the tunnels, to respect the speed limits and the relevant signage and to keep the required safe distance from the preceding vehicles.
