Large Scale Exercise in the Tunnels of Patras Bypass

A “Firefighting Large Scale Exercise” will be conducted in Panagopoulas Tunnels, during the night of Wednesday, November 3 to Thursday, November 4, 2021.

To ensure the safety of the participants in the Exercise and of the passing drivers, short traffic arrangements will be implemented on Wednesday, November 3, as following:

• from 18:00 p.m. to 06.00 a.m. of the next day, the traffic in the direction to Patras will be diverted to the service road (from k.p. 187,7 to k.p. 191,3),
• from 23:00 p.m. until no later than 04:00 a.m. of the next day, the traffic in the direction to Athens will be diverted to the Old National Road of Korinthos-Patra between Drepano I/C (k.p. 197,1) and Selianitika I/C (k.p. 180,5), as shown in the diagram below: 

The scheduled “Firefighting Large Scale Exercise” will be conducted in cooperation with the Fire Brigade and the participation of all stakeholders, the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transports, the Hellenic Police and the EKAV Ambulances.
