Road Safety Program “In real life there is no Undo”

Our core message centers on the paramount value of respecting lives, emphasizing that safety is non-negotiable. Named "In real life there is no Undo," our Corporate Social Responsibility program for Road Safety aims to train over 16,500 third-grade and high school students on responsible driving behavior within five years (2019-2023). Despite a 2021 pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program resumed in 2023, successfully training over 4,500 students. Over 10,000 students and educators have participated in our innovative "Do it right" program, utilizing cutting-edge simulators to impart road safety principles experientially with expert guidance.

Partnership between Olympia Odos and Safe Water Sports

Olympia Odos has established a strong partnership with Safe Water Sports, an organization dedicated to educating the public about sea safety. Annually, they conduct informative campaigns to raise awareness among both young and elderly travellers, emphasizing the significance of preserving Greece's aquatic environment to minimize drownings.

The collaboration involves disseminating informational pamphlets at 15 locations, including Motorway Service Stations (MSSs) and Customer Service Centers (CSCs), alongside promotional activities on social media and the Olympia Odos App.

Regional Growth Conference

Olympia Odos is a key strategy ally in financial and social growth of all the regions along the motorway. For more than six years, the company supports the yearly “Regional Growth Conference” aiming at aligning with local needs and priorities. Investment in strategic infrastructure is vital for economic and environmental sustainability.

Infrastructure should be designed not only to meet current needs, but also to guarantee resilience in possible future crises. Sustainable infrastructure is the key to the success of the evolving green transition goals and the climate neutrality commitments.

Gastronomic destinations 

Olympia Odos is a route of outstanding natural beauty which combines, among others, archaeological monuments, historic villages, local feasts, wine explorations, small manufactures of local products, associated with a rich culinary tradition. As of 2019, in cooperation with Mr. Giorgos Pitas and the Greek Gastronomy Guide, we point out 4 Gastronomic Destinations in Patras, Nemea, Aigialeia, Kalavryta, as alternative tourist and gastronomic routes. This initiative contributes to supporting the local economies, since it encourages and boosts small businesses, producers and local associations. The impressive videos created have attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers on YouTube and have been part of Greece’s promotional videos at international tourism conferences and exhibitions.
