Smart Tunnel: Remote Supervision and Predictive Maintenance
Smart Tunnel is a comprehensive solution for remote monitoring and predictive maintenance of tunnel infrastructure. Utilizing advanced Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning technologies, the system is integrated into the existing electromechanical infrastructure of the tunnels to provide real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance insights. In 2024, Smart Tunnel was expanded to cover four tunnels and six buildings along the Patras Bypass. The total investment for the project is €500,000, allocated over a five-year period, reflecting our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and safety in tunnel operations.
Pavement Management Plan Tool
Olympia Odos leverages the Pavement Management Plan Tool, a cutting-edge pavement monitoring solution that utilizes innovative software for monitoring and assessing pavement quality.
The software predicts the operational and structural condition of the pavement and enables the elabo ration of a technical interventions plan.
The database is comprehensive, including the results of the inspections carried out every three years, quality documents and key measurements instrumental in informing decision-making to better plan the maintenance campaigns.
